Shipping & returns

It is important to Bala Kudu that our customers are satisfied with their shopping experience with us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will endeavor to satisfy you in terms of this Returns Policy.


If a product purchased is not delivered within the agreed delivery period, or where no specific period was agreed, within 30 days after having paid for the product, you may cancel such purchase by giving us written notice by means of an e-mail to within 7 days of the expiry of the delivery period.

You will be refunded the full purchase price and the delivery cost, provided that, if the product is subsequently delivered to you, you will immediately return it in the original packaging, failing which, you will be invoiced.


You are entitled to cancel (either in whole or in part) any purchase, other than a purchase of an eBook, which cannot be cancelled once purchased,  without attracting any cancellation and/or administration charges if you cancel prior to the packaging of the products so sold.  Such early cancellations can only be effected online or by means of an e-mail to

In respect of an early cancellation you will be fully refunded in respect of such cancelled purchase (including delivery charges), without any administrative or other charges being payable. Should a purchase only be partially cancelled, we will recalculate the delivery charges and you shall be liable for the amount of such revised delivery charges.


If you find that a product, excluding a link to an E-book that was delivered to you is:

  • defective or faulty within 6 months of receiving it; or
  • damaged, excluding damage only to the packaging (You should refuse to accept delivery of any product which is visibly damaged),

you must inform us within 7 days after you have received delivery of such product of the extent of the damage, defect or fault that existed at delivery, or within 7 days of a product becoming defective or faulty, and of your intention to return the product to be replaced or refunded. You must return the product at your own cost for the product to be tested by Bala Kudu or the manufacturer, and if the product is subsequently found, in Bala Kudu’s or the manufacturer’s sole discretion -

  • to be damaged, defective or faulty not due to you, you will be entitled to (a) have the product repaired or replaced at Bala Kudu’s expense, or (b) be fully refunded;
  • NOT to be damaged, defective or faulty, or to be damaged, defective or faulty due to normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse, or due to you, or someone unauthorised to do so by Bala Kudu, having altered or damaged the product, you will be liable for the costs incurred in having such product re-delivered to you and you will not be refunded.



Should you be entitled to a refund for any reason, such refund shall be paid into your bank account, being your bank account as reflected on Bala Kudu’s records, or such personal account that you have provided us with prove of.

Bala Kudu will not, in this instance, pay any refunds into a third party bank account.

As refunds need to be processed by the banks, please note that the processing of refunds can take up to 10 days from the date of approval.
